She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Jackson Carter and Lillie Cobb Carter; her husband Furman; her children, William Hare (Mary Boyd) and Joyce DeBolt (Christopher); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Boyd, Michael Hare, Kathleen DeLay, James DeBolt and Matthew DeBolt. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
