It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Carter Hare of Indian Head, Maryland, born in Mountain Rest, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, William Jackson Carter and Lillie Cobb Carter; her husband Furman; her children, William Hare (Mary Boyd) and Joyce DeBolt (Christopher); and her grandchildren, Jonathan Boyd, Michael Hare, Kathleen DeLay, James DeBolt and Matthew DeBolt. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
