He was predeceased by: his mother Elsie Hancock; his brother William Hancock; and his son Daniel Hancock. He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Beavers (Garry) and Cindy Knott (Dennis); his grandchildren, John Heaton, Jennifer Evangelista, Brittany Beavers, Dennis Knott, Jr., Lisa Knott and Amanda Pitner; his great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Jacob, Nick, Chase, Samantha, Adrianna, Cody, Matthew, Tre, Daerien, Aubree, Gracelynn, Westyn, Jace and Lucy; and his siblings, Herbert, Alton, Marian, Comer and Betty Lou Thorne.
