Waters and Floyd L. Peaks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Nathaniel Wadsworth Bates and Deborah Elizabeth Bates Butler; her daughter-in-law Cynthia Vines; her granddaughters, Leah Vines, Leta Vines and Leilani Robinson (Kahlil); and her great grandchild Camdyn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, church family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thornton Funeral Home (3439 Livingston Rd, Indian Head, MD 20640). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd, Brentwood, MD 20722).
