She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Author T. Davis; her husband Michael N. Hawkins; her mother Inez; her sister Cora Sue; her aunts, Bertha and Beulah; her children, Carla Hawkins, Michele Hawkins, Michael Hawkins, Kristie Blake and Jefferey Hawkins (Juanita); her grandchildren, Larry, Allen (Colita), Koreena, Dwight, Delante Grace (Matthew), Alexis and Adrian; her siblings, Virginia "Lores" Bowman, Leola "Ann" Mason (late Cora "Sue" Greenhow) and Colbert Bowman; her godson Colin; her sisters-in-law, Margaret Ann, Florine, Maria and Leona; her aunts, Marguerite Harvey, Violet Simmons, Elaine Baker, Liz Thompson and Frances "Sonny" Penny; and her uncle Paul Bobby Bowman. She was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
