Violet B. Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on July 28, 2022, at the age of 88, Violet B. Simmons of Indian Head, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Penny and Eva Bowman; her husband James Lloyd Simmons; her sons, Ronald Gregory Simmons and James Stanley Simmons; and her siblings, Evelyn Howard, Ann Gray, Blondell Swann, James (Jimmy), Charles (Sunman), William (Cabby), Wilson (Tom), Kenneth (Kenny) and George Bowman (Calvin).
She is survived by: her daughter Inga S. Fewell; her siblings, Marguerite Harvey, Elaine Baker, Paul Bowman (Bobby), Catherine Thompson (Liz) and Francis Penny (Sonny); her grandchildren, Lorrea Duffin, Donna Simmons, Michelle Whitehead, Kaylynn Benallal, Alexis Ruiz, Kendra Fewell-Hartling and Marcus Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Ayana Williams, Aleesia Duffin, Ryan Duffin, Savannah Duffin, Jayden Whitehead, Miles Whitehead, Malia Whitehead, Brooklyn Whitehead and Julian Fewell-Hartling. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other close relatives and friends.
