He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren Hill and Louise Hill (Smith); his sisters, Judy Hiner and Regina Tristan; and his brother-in-law Don Gunther.

He is survived by: his wife Karen; his son Christopher Hill (J. J.); his grandchildren, Brayden, Spencer and Kacey Hill; his brother Rick Hill (Linda) of Grants Pass; and his sibling's children, Melanie Nelson, Susan Nagel, Misty Hiner, Tausha Lell, Heather Hill and Cliff Hiner.
