He was predeceased by: his parent Helene Marie Evans (Hájak). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Ann Arlang; his daughters, Kristina McGowan (Keith Sawyer) and Lisa Hale (Ed Hale, Jr.); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jackie, Tyler, Leo, Charlie and Emma; and his sister Renáte Shelley (Arlang).
