He was predeceased by : his parents, James Basilone and Josephine Basilone (Polcini); and his brother Dennis Basilone. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Basilone; his children, Ashley N. Basilone and Richard "R. J." Basilone Jr.; his daughter-in-law Melanie Basilone; his grandchildren, Isabella Basilone and Adalyn Basilone; his brother James Basilone Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Cathy Basilone, Dianna Basilone and Barbara Schultz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
