It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emory Zimmerman (Jefferson, Maryland), born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Halfdan Joseph and E. Zimmerman (Biser) of Virginia; his son Randy Zimmerman; his grandson Timothy Hannah; his brothers, David "Ted" Zimmerman and Leonard Zimmerman; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Glenn, Mary Zimmerman and Barbara Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Walker" Zimmerman; his children, Cindy Hannah (Tim) of Rohrersville and Bruce Zimmerman (Sandy) of Walkersville; his grandchildren, Brett Zimmerman (Casey) of Frederick, Emily Zimmerman of Frederick, Loni Hannah of Hagerstown and Tyler Zimmerman of Texas; and his siblings, Maurice "Skip" Zimmerman (Eleanor Still), Virginia Glenn of Pennsylvania and Alice Miller (Bob) of Lanham, Maryland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
