It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian James Kirsch Sr. of Joppa, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Kirsch and Lois Kirsch (Thumser); his brother George John Kirsch, Jr.; and his former life partner Sharon Ann Kirsch. He is survived by : his wife Kathleen L. Jones; his sons, Brian "Jimmy" James Kirsch, Jr. and Alexander David Kirsch; and his siblings, Mary Hart, Paul Kirsch and Kevin Kirsch.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause close to Brian's heart, at P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
