Dennis was predeceased by : parents, Oliver Dea and Willie Kate Lambert (Ferren); husband Charles Edward Simms Jr.; daughter Deborah Jean Williams; and siblings, Anna Lou Kirk, Cecil Lambert, Dolly McNutt, Kathleen Vallincourt, Donald Lambert, Audrey Moore and Becky Lay Jeppi.

Dennis is survived by : son Mark Simms (Michelle); and sister Nancy Cornwell.
