She was predeceased by: her parents, John Baldwin and Nellie Buettner (Huffman); her spouse Russell Hershberger; and her daughter Carolyn Wolfe. She is survived by: her children, John Chavis, Sr. (Gloria), Grady Chavis (Sherry), James Hammonds, Jr. (Rebecca), Nella Savage (Alan) and Sherri French; and her son-in-law Charles Wolfe. She is also survived by many grandchildren & great grandchildren.
