It is with sadness that the passing of Valerie Theresa Kramer of Joppa, Maryland is shared. Valerie, born on March 31, 1944, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Valerie will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Valerie by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Valerie is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Valerie’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michael Hajduchik and Jean Frances Hajduchik (Rup); and her son-in-law Phillip Douglas. She is survived by: her son Quentin Kramer (Sharon); her sisters, Jeanne Kelly (Lawrence) and Carol Herr (Richard); and her nieces and nephews, Gradys and Herrs. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 22nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
