She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Vincent Malcolm Byrnes; her parents, Laure FitzSimons and Francis Joseph FitzSimons Sr. of Covington; her siblings, Francis Joseph FitzSimons Jr. of Covington, Nicholas FitzSimons of Covington, Robert FitzSimons of Covington and Elizabeth Arnaud of San Antonio, Texas; and her grandchild Vijay Nagendra of New Orleans.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Moody (William) of Ethel, Mary Nagendra (H. V.) of New Orleans, Walton Malcolm Byrnes (Noni) of Kensington, Francis Joseph Byrnes (Lauri) of Ocala, Amy Metzel (John) of Springfield, Virginia, Una Anderson (David) of New Orleans and John Byrnes of New Orleans. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
