We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2024, at the age of 98, Ida Nilsen DeVierno of Kensington, Maryland, born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ida Nilsen DeVierno to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her husband John DeVierno; her son Richard; her brother Henry; and her parents, Nils Nilsen and Anna Nilsen.

She is survived by : her children, John A. (Nancy) of Kensington, Alice (Nelson) of Sarasota, FL, Paul of Singapore, Arfah and Benjamin; and her granddaughter Angela (Matt) of Arlington, VA.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the St. Paul's Methodist Church (10401 Armory Ave, Kensington, MD 20895).

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent in her memory to St. Paul's or to Community Support Services, Gaithersburg, MD.
