He is survived by: his parents, Caty and Zach; his sister Anna; his grandparents, Cindy and Jim DiDonato; his great-grandparent Theresa Lipski; his grandfather Bob Anderson (Suzie Albert); his aunts, Astrid Anderson and Susan Shaw; his uncle Ryan Shaw; his cousins, Sonny, Maverick Shaw and James; and his pet Salty.

In lieu of flowers, James' family encourages loved ones to donate to the James Anderson Memorial Fund, which will provide assistance to a senior Wheaton baseball player pursuing higher education. Donation link will be forthcoming.
