He was predeceased by: his siblings, Catherine Baker, Matthew and John Sarsfield. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Kathleen Craft (Matthew), Julia Merti (Joshua) and Daniel Sarsfield (Emily); his grandchildren, Madeline, Isabel, Ryan, Daniel and Andrew; and his sister Mary Ann McCormick (Michael). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
