In loving memory of John Philip Morrissey (Kensington, Maryland), born in Cohoes, New York, who departed this world on April 14, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by : his parents, William T. Dee and Agnes Kay Fitzgerald Morrissey; and his siblings, Dr. Joan Altekruse, Dr. William Morrissey and Lynn Ann Morrissey Strike. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (9705 Summit Ave, Kensington, MD 20895). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Agnes Cemetery (79 St Agnes Hwy, Cohoes, NY 12047).
