He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Thorpe and Linwood Thorpe; and his wife Debbie Thorpe. He is survived by: his children, Tracey Cohen, Kim Alexander (Michael), David Thorpe and Melissa Cox (RC); his stepson Robert Lytton (Nikki Quan); his grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Courtney, Erik, Abby, Kylee and Bella; his great grandchildren, Michael, Mckenzie, Brooke, Aubrey, William and Dylan; his great great grandchildren, Walker, Bradley and Baby Boy; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Triplett.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Taneytown Volunteer Fire Company (39 E Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD 21787).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to the Prostate Cancer Foundation or the American Liver Foundation. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
