He is survived by: his brother Thomas Gary Cooke; his children, Elbert Ronald Cooke, III of Greensboro and Stephanie Woods (Cooke); his son-in-law James Woods, Jr.; and his son Stewart Brian Cooke. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
