She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Joseph D. Luhrman, Jr.; her children, Sandra Luhrman, Sharon Kuczak (Steve), Cathy Kiddy (Don), Carol Ferris (Tom) and Joe Luhrman (Nina); her grandchildren, Bill Beltz, Melissa Hafner, Greg Podles, Kristen Kuczak, TJ Ferris, Nicole Hough, Steven Kuczak, Dylan Ferris, Kathryn Luhrman and Joey Luhrman; her great grandchildren, Rugby Beltz, Archer Beltz, Chase Beltz, Lane Hafner, Xena Kuczak, Dawsyn Kuczak and Carver Kuczak; and her nieces, Karen Funk, Barbara Thall and Michele Griffin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. F. Lassahn Funeral Home (11750 Belair Rd, Kingsville, MD 21087). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (8420 Belair Rd, Nottingham, MD 21236).

In Betty's memory, and in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor at littlesistersofthepoor.org, a cause close to her heart.
