She was predeceased by : her father Dennis Yurek. She is survived by : her daughter Lily Fox; her mother Susan Yurek; her sister Holly Pass (Will); her nieces and nephews, Alexander, Gabriella Pass and Laura; her aunts and uncles, Janet Cantwell, Rick, Karen Southwick, Vernon, Kenneth Shephard and Cindy; and her cousins, Carrie Williams, Adam Southwick, Allison Southwick, Dan Shephard, Clara Dibley, Molly Shephard, Ellen Shephard and Jill Shephard.

In lieu of flowers, the family is establishing a paramedic scholarship in Laura's name. Donations can be sent to the Venmo account @Susan-Yurek.
