She was predeceased by : her husband Charles Gerlach, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Virginia Baier, Richard, Deborah Bollinger, James Robert, II, Charlene Trent, Dennis, Katherine Pollock and David; and her grandchildren, Aimee Hiteshew, Jamie Davidson, Erick Baier, Rob Bollinger, Jessica Caudill, Colin Trent, Rachel Welker, Emma Trent, Ian Trent, Philip Pollock and Ava Pollock. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
