He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Harold Scherr, Christian Wild and Don Booz. He is survived by: his wife Elaine A. Eckhardt; his children, Tom Eckhardt (Laura), Gregory Eckhardt and Kristie Winand (Brian); his grandchildren, Ashley Britos (Juan), Brandon Winand (Hannah) and Madison Winand; his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Gage Hammer; and his sister Joan Booz. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
