She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnson and Ruth Johnson; and her father-in-law Ernest Scott Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Bostick and Annette Scott of La Plata; her grandchildren, Ernest Jr., Malcolm Scott of Portsmouth, Virginia., Shawn, Brandon Bostick, Erykah Hopkins, Shawne, Jordan Scott and Aiden Smith; and her great grandchildren, Ava Bostick, Faith Holtzclaw and Mizylah Isaac. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many family and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church (5560 Pleasant Grove Rd, Marbury, MD 20658). A celebration of life was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery (11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623).
