He was predeceased by: his parents, Carney Hoffmaster and Agnes Hoffmaster; his son David Jr.; his son-in-law Chris; and his sister Mary Norton.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Joann Cornwell; his children, Joe (Vicki), Bobby (Sue), Clare, Phillip and Marty; and his daughter-in-law Nancy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
