She is survived by: her parents, George Sanders and Katherine Bowie Sanders (Bonnie); her aunt Bet Pagliaro; her children, Sara Elizabeth Akers of Charlotte Hall and Joshua Akers of Waldorf, Maryland.; and her sister Mindy Marie Sanders of King George. She is also survived by several nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
