With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harris Raymond Wilburn Jr. (La Plata, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Raymond Wilburn, Sr. and Julia Belle Whitson Wilburn; and his wife Marianne Cox Wilburn. He is survived by: his children, David Michael Wilburn of Alexandria and Sarah Wilburn MacMillan (Michael) of Allens Fresh, Maryland.; and his grandchildren, Sean Patrick MacMillan, Mary Catherine MacMillan and Ronan James MacMillan.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A prayer will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Home (5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Church ~ Wayside (13050 Rock Point Rd, Newburg, MD 20664). A repast will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at the Parish Hall.
