She is survived by: her parents, Dr. Frank L. Joe Jr. and Rev. Shirley L. Joe; her sister Cynthia Thompson (Lonnie); her nephews, Michael and Matthew Thompson; her brothers, Michael Joe and Michael Tinsley (Bonnie); her nieces, Kieyona Dunn (TJ) and Kynesha Tinsley; her cousins, Nicole Woods, Julie Maldonado (Mondo) and Edith Morgan (CeCe); and her close friends, Wanda Tyree, Lynette Braxton, Nita Spencer, Juliette Wiltshire Scales and Ivy Summers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ebenezer AME Church (7707 Allentown Rd, Fort Washington, MD 20744). A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woods Family Cemetery (356 Marcus-823 Rd, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
