Howard of Mitchellville, MD; her children, Terrence R. Williams, Keri L. Williams and Nichele C. Inboden (Christopher) of Mitchellville, MD; her granddaughter Tierra J (D. C.); her brother Charles O. Butler (Vera) of DeLand, FL; her stepchildren, Sonja Dingle (R. Scott) of Waldorf, MD, Scarlette Howard of Upper Marlboro, MD and Gwen Raeford (Frank) of Syracuse, NY; and her nieces and nephews, Kimberly J. Brown of DeLand, FL, Kenneth W. Brown (Eva) of DeLand, FL, Michael Butler (Carol) of Orlando, FL, Charlene Crumbly (Isaac) of Atlanta, GA, Todd Butler (Sandra), Charles Butler Jr. (Grenique) of Lakeland, FL, Sheena Thomas-Ferguson (Antoine), Karen Thomas of Snellville, GA, Pamela Williams (Andre) of Cedar Hills, TX, Judith Bush (Richard) of Savannah, TN, Kim McClendon (Darryl) of Fredericksburg, VA, Joy Crapps (William), Ida Wright (Arthur) and Kenya D. Ford of Daytona Beach, FL.. She is also survived by extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Highland Park (6801 Sheriff Rd, Landover, MD 20785). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In addition, she is a past regional director for the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL).
