She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Simms-Johnson, Melinda, Michelle and Carolyn Simms; her stepdaughter Lisa Thompson; her sons, Marvin Jr. and Marty Simms; her stepsons, Mark Snoddy and Marlon Cager; and her sister Lottie Christian. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
