He is survived by: his wife Barbara Reynolds Murphy; his children, Sheron Renee Murphy and Anthony Ray Murphy (Antoinette); his grandchildren, Amber Murphy, Kemper Murphy, Jade Murphy, Jaelyn Murphy and Anthony Murphy Jr.; and his siblings, Francis Murphy, Beulah Ferguson, Lois Powell and Robert Murphy. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church (5120 Whitfield Chapel Rd, Lanham, MD 20706). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
