He is survived by: his wife Margo; his children, Terry (Richelle), Stephanie (Andre), James Jr. (Rachel), Nianca (Carso), Jamara (Perry) and Yecena; his grandchildren, Alaye, Olivia, Thomas, Carion, Jordan, Sydney, Joshua, Brixton, Halo, Zayvin and Perry; his brother Erick Skinner; his goddaughter Lisa Mobley; and his father-in-law Bob Credle. He is also survived by sisters in law, brothers in law, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Seaton Memorial AME Church (5507 Lincoln Ave, Lanham, MD 20706). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
