She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Genovez and Marta Lopez De Genovez; and her sisters, Rohde Malinda Romero, Marty Genovez and Cleotilde "Coty" Mejias (Genovez).
She is survived by: her daughters, Rubidia Carmelina Cruz-Reyes and Gladis Elvira Gonzalez; her grandchildren, Gladis Gonzalez Edwards, Natalie Gonzalez, Ruby Cruz and Agustin Cruz-Reyes; her great grandchild Sophia Edwards; and her siblings, Dora, Marina and Osmin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and MANY other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville (12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Linthicum Chapel Cemetery. A reception was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Salvation Army Prince George's Corps (4825 Edmonston Rd, Hyattsville, MD 20781).
