She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Raymond Holmes and Willie Mae Crenshaw; and her brothers, Leroy R. Holmes, Julian C. Holmes and Robert W. Holmes.
She is survived by: her sons, Derek Jay Gross (Tonya) of Baltimore and Michael David Cross of Mitchellville, Maryland; her grandchildren, Derek Jabez Gross and Gabriella J'nae Cross; and her brothers, Francis W. Holmes and Calvin C. Crenshaw. She is also survived by family members and friends.
