Rita Watts Zehner Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Rita Watts Zehner of Lanham, Maryland. Rita, born on April 10, 1931, passed away on August 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Lusby Watts and Hugh Aloysius Watts. She is survived by: her husband Gene; her sons, Donald Zehner (MaryAnn), David Zehner, Mickey Zehner (Sharon) and Jimmy Zehner (Bev Minnick); her granddaughters, Lissah Zehner and Maddy Zehner (Cory Gilbert); her nephew Martin Zehner (Wynee); and her niece Elaine Zehner.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Matthias Catholic Church (9475 Annapolis Rd, Lanham, MD 20706).
