She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Richard Charles Abbajay and Patricia Mae Zientara; her son Justin (Monica); her grandsons, Joshua and Caleb; her siblings, Shelley (Jimmy) and Kelley (Tobie); and her siblings' children, Chris (Karin), Noelle, Jessica, Ryan and Chloe.

She was featured in Who's Who and honored by ISPA for her significant contributions to the industry, where she was regarded as an integral leader and innovator.
