He was predeceased by: his parents, William Claggett and Mary Claggett (Sanders); and his brothers, Stephen Claggett and Thomas Claggett. He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Hartnett (David); his grandchildren, Robin Claggett, Danielle (Hartnett), Matthew Hartnett and Catherine Best; his great grandchildren, Waylon Thorp and Grayson Thorp; his brother Russell Claggett (Sarah); and his sibling's children, Stephen Claggett (Susan), Thomas Claggett and Cathy (Claggett) Ruffin (Richard).
