In loving memory of Luther Della Jr. of Laplata, Maryland, who departed this world on September 14, 2025 at the age of 82. Luther leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Della, Sr. and Mary Estelle Della; and his siblings, Edward Della and Linda Della. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Della; his children, Drew Della, III (Tammi) and Lisa Fluharty (Jason); his sisters, Catherine Gottlied, Barbara Maas, Emily Hogue and Irene Meader; his grandchildren, Andy Della, IV (Ashley), Michael Della (Natalie Molvin), Zackary McGuire (Izzy Ayers), Parker McGuire and Lillian McGuire; and his great grandchildren, Kameron Della and Aubree Della. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 911 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. A prayer was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
