She was predeceased by: her parents, William Murphy and Margaret Murphy; her husband Joseph Simpson, Sr.; her daughter Regina Joanne; and her siblings, John Murphy, Nedray Murphy, Margaret "Soda" Stickel and Hilda Cameron.

She is survived by: her son Joey Simpson, Jr.; and her sisters, Rose Radcliff and Ramona Millar. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
