With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Thoreson of Laurel, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband LeRoy; her sister Ruth O'Donnell; her parents, Charles Rasche and Martha Rasche (Haberman); her children, Brian (Kathryn) of McLean, Virginia, Jeffrey (Reba) of Frederick, Maryland, Gregory (Helene) of Ellicott City, Maryland, Mark (Louise) of Concord, Jeananne (Charlie) of Baltimore, Maryland and Nancy (Tim) of Murrells Inlet; and her grandchildren, Emily, Bridget, Alex, Scott, Lauren, Alan, Anthony, Julia, Marissa, Nicole, Megan, Andrew, Peter and Audrey. She was also cherished by seven great-grandchildren.
