He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Albert and Eula Taylor Clayton; and his sister Grace Cole. He is survived by: his wife Ida Edwards Clayton; his children, Jeffrey Clayton of Wilmington, NC and Elizabeth Clayton Correia of Hagerstown; his grandchildren, Casey, Lucas, Tyler, Alexis, Zachary, Evan, Travis, Mason and Jameson; and his siblings, Jimmy Clayton, JoAnn Clayton and Linda Jacobs. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Buddy Clayton to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
