He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Miguel Cortes and Victoria Slimming; his wife Eileen Cruz Flage; his daughters, Vanessa and Alyssa; his brothers, Patricio Cortes (Pato) and Tía Margaret (Donald); and his cousins, Elizabeth (Adam), Jennifer (Michael) and David (Jessica). He was also cherished by 8 nieces and nephews.
