It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Nelson Oliver (Laurel, Maryland), who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Donald is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Donald's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Josephine Oliver and Joseph "Nelson" Oliver; his wife Harriet; his children, Loryn and David; and his pet Harriet.
In lieu of flowers, Don requested that donations be sent to New Hope Lutheran Church, located at 8575 Guilford Road, Columbia, MD 21046.
