She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Murphy and Mary Agnes Murphy (Skeals); her husband Collin P. Davis; her son William Merritt; and her siblings, Mary Irene Murphy, Alice M. Hilton and Edward Francis Murphy.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Davis (Pamela) of Elkridge and Diane Harkleroad (Kernie) of Annapolis; and her grandchildren, Shane Harkleroad of Edgewater, Patrick Harkleroad (Casey) of San Diego, Colin Harkleroad (Savannah) of Navarre and Theresa Harkleroad of Annapolis. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
