He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Andrew Brown, Sr. and Dorothy Beall Brown (Margaret); and his brother William "Billy" Michael Brown, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Annette B. Mellor; his son Edward Andrew Brown, III; his stepchildren, Virginia McLemore (Jim), Anne Waltemeyer, Christian Hedrich, II and Robert Hedrich, Jr.; his granddaughters, Sarah Brown (Elizabeth) and Kaitlin Alissa Brown; his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Noel (Chris), Christine De Baca (Jason), Byron Waltemeyer (Jen), Stephen Waltemeyer (Kim), Christian Hedrich, III (Amanda), James Hedrich (Ashlynn), Stacey Hedrich, Megan Riggin (Josh) and Andrea Hedrich; and his siblings, Edwina "Winnie" Brown (Elizabeth), Joan "Joanie" Margaret Brown (Harold), Mary Louise Richardson and Francis "Tootsie" Brown. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
