She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Lester Miles and Naomi Verlinda Miles (Welsh); her husband J. Richard "Dick" Compton; and her brother Bobby. She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Alan Compton (Bonnie) and Peter Miles Compton (Aida); her sister-in-law Sherry Ann Stone Miles; her grandchildren, Erin (Greg), Sarah (Michael), Ashley (Dan), Tyler (Julie), Miles (Brandy) and Laura (Julio); her great grandchildren, Olive, Tessa, Charlie, Lyla, Emerson, Avery, Enrique, Ayla and Noah; and her friend Gayle. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
