It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Joan Lewis of Laurel, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her husband John E. Lewis, Jr.; her children, John E. Lewis, III (Mary), Nina E. Riley (William) and Hope D. Brown (William); her grandchildren, Angela, John, Brian, Robert, Elizabeth, Grant, Patrick and William; her great grandchildren, Owen, Ethan, Jameson, Harper, Nora, Palmer and Emma; and her siblings, Nancy Bradley of Pawley's Island, SC, William Forsyth of Williamsburg, VA, Dorothy Young and Barbara Baker.
