Eva Mae Black Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eva Mae Black (Laurel, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eva left this world on March 29, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Eva departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Eva may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Eva leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Edelen and Eva Mae Edelen; and her brother Kenneth "Buzzy" Edelen. She is survived by: her husband Arthur "Artie" Black; and her sons, Craig (Susan) and Kevin. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
