He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Ballard and Helen Ballard; his brother Lester Ballard; his brother-in-law Gary Cooper; his nephew Matthew Cooper; his parents-in-law, Josephine and Thomas Mosimann; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Walker and Kathie Mosimann.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes Helen Mosimann (Aggie); his children, Stacey Riley (Chris) and David Ballard; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Boula (Jeremy), Patrick Riley and Benjamin Ballard; his great grandchildren, Owen, Elin and Connor Boula; his sister Beverly Cooper; his sister-in-law Barbara Ballard; his siblings, Roger Ballard (Mary) and Lesley Todd (Mark); and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Mosimann (Bettsy), Mary Walker (Mitzie) and Michael. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
